Summary

Metal detecting recovered a probable 14th century lead openwork ventilation panel from a church or monastery window. Fieldwalking recovered one fragment of possible Iron Age pottery and six pieces of early medieval pottery including a rim and a base.

Lead openwork panel, probably 14th century, from church window, used as ventilation panel. Some found on monastic sites. This is a beautiful example with delicate tracery.
