Summary

In 1992 a fieldwalking and metal-detecting survey along the route of a pipeline recovered a scatter of prehistoric worked flints. During construction of the pipeline more finds were made including burnt prehistoric flints, pieces of Roman pot and tile and fragments of medieval and post medieval pot.
