Summary

Metal detecting here in 1992 recovered a range of medieval metal objects. These artefacts comprised a pin, purse bar modified for use as a tool and two mounts that would have been attached to a belt or harness.

Medieval purse bar (Type A) with flange filed down and point 'sharpened' to make a tool.

Medieval heart-shaped mount with two projecting lobes- leaf at one end, trefoil at other.
Medieval triangular mount, with transverse ribs.
Both for attachment to belt or harness.
