Summary

In 1992 metal detecting here recovered a Late Bronze Age bronze bag-shaped chape. It was broken into two and had curious encrustation. It is possible that river dredgings were spread here before the houses were built. This would explain the encrustation on this find and those from NHER 28985. A number of Roman objects were also recovered at this site, include a copper alloy skillet, brooch and coins.
