Summary
In 1992 an elephant skeleton was discovered amongst the roots of a yew tree that stands in the grounds of the surgery here. The tree was said to be 150 years old and the owners of Pond House in mid 19th century are known to have kept a circus.

Full Description
1992. From roots of yew tree formerly in garden on Pond House, now site of new surgery.
Elephant skeleton.
Tree was said to be 150 years old and the owners of Pond House in mid 19th century are known to have kept a circus.
