Full Description
1980s. Finds from OS 1928 Field 326.
Prehistoric flint flakes and pot boilers and Roman, medieval, and post medieval pottery sherds were found.

1996. Fieldwalking.
The field was walked in 6 subdivisions. No concentrations were found.
The finds include flint flakes, medieval and post medieval pottery sherds, a piece of a millstone grit or similar quern, and a fragment of medieval brick. Some of the post medieval sherds look slightly like potting rejects, poorly glazed and over fired, compare with NHER 12948.
