Summary

Metal detecting recovered a medieval shield-shaped harness pendant, a 16th century bronze spout tap and a post medieval copper alloy lock-plate with openwork decoration.

September 1992. Metal detecting finds.
Medieval shield shaped gilded bronze harness pendant with suspension loop. Gilded just at top and rest presumably was once enamelled with a heraldic device. See (S1).
Probably 16th century bronze spout tap (cistern etc.) projecting bar with moulded decoration where it joins spout.
Post medieval lovely bronze lock-plate, openwork decoration.
