Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1992 recovered a large flint blade core from sandy soil. This find could date from any period from the Upper Palaeolithic to the Early Neolithic.

From one of several sandy areas on a silty field (bumps and hollows bulldozed some time ago):
1 Upper Palaeolithic to Early Neolithic large flint blade core.
Identified by P. Robins (NCM). Donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1999.1.40.9).
