Full Description
October 1992.
Lovely early 14th century seal matrix, copper alloy, pointed oval. Loop at top on reverse with central longitudinal rib aligned with it. Motif: a ship with rolled up sails and rigging shown. S'IOAN. BRVNINE DE BERWIC'.

Coin weight of James I of Scotland 1406-37. Weight 1.39g.
Obverse. FOURSHILLS AND 6D. Reverse. 4S = 6D.
For a Scottish half demy (demy = gold 9 shillings).
