Full Description
October 1992. 2 Downs Cottages. Stray find.
One Saxo-Norman Grimston-Thetford type sherd.
Three medieval sherds including one 12th/13th century ginger jar rim.
Seven sherds from base of a Green Glazed Grimston jug and two medieval unglazed sherds.
Identified by W .Milligan (NCM).

Location of site corrected to above grid reference.
Source reports exposure of layers of chalk and dumps of oyster shells, sounding similar to those on site NHER 1115 to west.
Pottery finds being examined by KLM.
