Full Description
October/November 1992. Metal detecting. [1].
Early Saxon bronze strap end, lozenge shaped base, tip broken off, two pierced lobes at top, and split end above, triangular shape, with hatched decoration on edges.

Identified by J. Davies (NCM), 16 December 1992
13th century bronze casket mount lobed terminal, pierced with a rivet hole.
Medieval bronze circular 'box' padlock, decorated with dot in circle. Bolt with tines in situ, barrel-shaped 'loop' on top edge for hasp.
Medieval bronze swivel loop, perhaps from purse. Unusual shape.
Medieval bronze dagger or sword chape, front plate, central hatched rib, openwork circle and slot on each side, scalloped top edge.
Medieval ?pewter fragment of annular brooch, flattened section, cast decoration in form of cross-hatching. It might be by chance that two rivet holes near one end look like eyes in an animal head.
