1992. Metal detecting. Large scatter including NHER 20665, NHER 20667and NHER 20668.
General finds from field.
Four Roman coins.
Two medieval coins. Lists in file.
Roman Dolphin-type brooch with hinge mechanism, 1st century AD wide wings, moulded with grooves, lower bow and pin missing. Originally silvered.
Medieval copper alloy lamp or balance suspension, central bar (pierced terminal) and three arms with pierced terminals, one arm broken. Worn loop in centre is broken.

Colchester one-piece type brooch, with perforated catch-plate mostly missing, as is pin. 1st century AD. Found at [1]
I.D. J. Davies (NCM).
Flaked flint axe in pale grey flint with coarse-grained inclusions which are responsible for rather irregular cross-section. Heavily battered along both edges and with severe damage at cutting edge (probably in antiquity). Dimensions: 165 x 48 x 32mm. No trace of polishing. Neolithic.

Copper alloy almost circular three piece medieval strap end with small knob and two iron rivets.

Head and bow of narrow Group I cruciform brooch. Head consists of an undecorated square plate with a square-facetted top knob above; the side knobs are missing. On reverse is a lug for a pin bar with iron corrosion. The bow is facetted and undecorated; the break is quite fresh. 5th century.
