Summary

Metal detecting here in 1992 recovered a Late Bronze age chisel, a third or fourth century Roman coin, a medieval strap end and a part of a medieval knife.

Medieval bronze strap end, two rivets at open end. Scalloped base with tiny tongue-shaped terminal.
Late medieval solid cast bronze terminal from knife handle with remains of iron tang. Hemispherical ribbed 'head' with moulded 'collar'.
Some post medieval material not recorded.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM) and J. Davies (NCM).
