Summary

Fieldwalking in 1992 recovered prehistoric worked flints. Metal-detecting between 2016 and 2020 recovered Late Iron Age/Roman (Roman issue), Roman and medieval coins and medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval buckles.

Evaluation on proposed route of Hardwick Landfill site access road (Field 5):
Large spread of prehistoric worked flints. Mostly flakes with a few tools. No concentration or focus.
