January 1993.Stray Find.
Mesolithic/Early Neolithic small flint axe or pick. Sub-triangular section in pale grey smokey flint, while patina with brown spotty staining. Has suffered severe recent damage (?plough) which has shattered one end, making it difficult to determine the original form. The accompanying blade has also suffered wear and edge damage.
