Summary

Metal detecting here in 1992 recovered a damaged Saxon strap end with very stylised animal head decoration. This artefact forms part of the large scatter NHER 29637.

1992. Metal detector find. South of Hargham Hall.
Probably Middle Saxon. Bronze strap end broken 'open' end but two rivet holes visible on back 'plate'. Very stylised animal head.
