Full Description
3 February 1992. NLA Air photography.
Earthworks to west of Park/southwest of Hall.
Trackways and enclosures.
M. Flitcroft (NLA) February 1993.
These appear to predate the South View of the park and thus predate the 18th century layout.
E. Rose (NLA) 18 February 1993
June 1992.
Photography extends and shows two parallel trackways running from the hall to Home Farm. Is this the original park entrance before it was moved, or a pre-park road to the village?
E. Rose (NLA) 22 January 1997.
This site was just immediately outside the park boundary in the early 18th century. (S1) and (S2) depict a series of small fields and trackways in this area, which was subsequently taken into the park.
S. Spooner (NLA) 10 April 2006
