Summary

Aerial photographs taken in 1946 show the cropmarks of a ring ditch at this location. No firm date was assigned to this feature, although it could be of Bronze Age origin.

Noted from RAF 1946 air photograph.
Near circular ring ditch, 19m diameter, with ditch depth 0.3m and width 1m+. Centre not noticeably higher than surrounds, and slightly sloping from west-to-east.

2001.
Site under rough grass. Some recent tree planting to east and west.
Earthwork difficult to interpret due to long sward.
Possible fault depression to the north.
Property undergoing refurbishment. This may entail some installation of new drains.
