Summary

A linear earthwork and ditched boundary exists within the Wolterton Park. No date has been assigned to these features but they may pre-date the present park landscape. However, recent site visits and aerial photographs have had difficulty in locating and identifying these features.

Approximately 100m of 4m wide linear depression, leading from southwest corner of kitchen garden, towards lake, with short section of ditch linked on west side. Ground level higher to west (0.3m) than to east.
Possibly pre-dates present park landscape.
