Full Description
Timber framed house, possibly the remnants of a hall house whose parlour end was rebuilt and stack inserted around 1600, most of the older section being demolished in the 19th century and rewalled around 1946; otherwise, an odd variant of a two-cell plan of around 1600.

"Grey Gables, Common Road. Hardwick.
17th century timber-framed house, rendered. South end wall brick faced in 20th century. Steep pantile roof with gabled ends. Brick chimney stack off centre. Two storeys. Modern metal frame casements. Plank door in front of stack."
