Summary

Fieldwalking on this site by the Black Carr Research Group has recovered concentrations of prehistoric, Roman and medieval pottery. There is also a possible burnt mound site where burnt flint is concentrated. A Late Saxon glass bead was also recovered.

April 1993. Black Carr Research Group fieldwalking. 'Site 2,' 'Site 4'.
Context 1. Pottery scatter - one prehistoric, eighteen Roman, twenty medieval, two post medieval.
Context 2. Burnt flint patch.
Context 3. Late Saxon glass bead.
