Summary

Metal detecting has recovered a wide range of finds dating from the Roman to post medieval period. These include an Iron Age brooch, Roman brooches, a Roman pendant, fragments of Early Saxon brooches, Late Saxon stirrup-strap mounts, a medieval belt mount, a post medieval sword buckle and post medieval jettons. Roman, medieval and post medieval coins were also found.
