Summary

A World War Two anti aircraft battery has been recorded as this site, although there is no evidence of a structure on aerial photographs. It is possible that this site has been confused with the anti aircraft battery recorded under NHER 27272.

E. Rose (NLA) 17 May 1993.

August 2005. Norfolk NMP.
No evidence of a World War Two anti aircraft battery is visible at this location on contemporary or later aerial photographs. It is possible that the location of this site has been confused with that of the heavy anti aircraft battery at Oak Farm, West Caister that lies 900m further to the west (NHER 27272). Buildings at the domestic site of that battery were located immediately adjacent to the road and could fit the description above.
J. Albone (NMP), 5 August 2005
