Summary

Aerial photographs taken in 1988 recorded a linear feature at this location. This was interpreted as a possible medieval hollow way, and it has been reported that the foundations of a large wall follow the hollow way. The probable hollow way is also visible as an earthwork on visualised lidar data from a surrey flown in 2022.
