Summary

Fieldwalking recovered a dense scatter of prehistoric burnt flints. A number of worked flints were also recovered including a bladelet and flakes of possible Mesolithic or Early Neolithic date and a potentially Early Bronze Age scraper.

Field not covered in Fen Survey as grass at time.
Dense pot boiler spread identified. Other finds recovered included:
1 ?Mesolithic/Early Neolithic flint bladelet and 5 long, narrow flakes.
1 ?Early Bronze Age flint end scraper
Identified by P. Robins (NCM), see list and description in file.
All flints subsequently donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1999.1.19.21).
