March 1993. Found with metal detecting.
Medieval square copper alloy buckle in form of animal head, inlaid eyes, frame of buckle trapezoidal-shaped and projects from top of animal head. Under head is pierced hole for pin attachment. Projecting lobes at each corner of frame. Relief lines on animal head and side bars of frame. Pierced rivet hole in each corner of the open jaw perhaps where a pin attached strap.
