During a watching brief, fieldwalking on this site recovered a prehistoric flint flake.

1993. Watching Brief.
Brundall to Whitlingham Rising Main (Field 1611).
Initial fieldwalking and metal-detecting where possible, followed by observation of stripped easement and, where deemed necessary, monitoring of the excavation of the pipe trench itself.
Topsoil was stripped over a 10m strip at the south side of field.
1 prehistoric worked flint collected from the topsoil. No features were observed.
