NHER 29962 (Find Spot record) - Multi-period metal objects and pottery sherds

July to August 1993. Casual collection from surface whilst metal detecting.
A Neolithic grey flint blade and Roman, Medieval and Post-Medieval pottery sherds were recovered. The pottery sherds were identified as a Roman greyware rim, possibly of a bowl; one flat base and one body sherd of coarse Roman or Thetford-type pottery; one jar rim and three body sherds (one with oxidised exterior) of Thetford-type; two developed bow rims and one body sherd of medieval unglazed pottery; one body sherd of glazed Grimston ware; and one base, possibly of a small jug, of a partly oxidized coarse ware with no visible glaze dated to the late medieval or early post medieval period.
