Summary

A farmhouse, possibly dating to the 18th century. There is a group of associated buildings, including a brick barn that was built about 1830. The site is an important example of a smallholding that serviced a canal.

Large brick barn of about 1830.
Other small buildings.
Of particular interest as a surviving early 19th century smallholding and in that it supplied the canal - did barn hold the hay for the barge horses?
