Full Description
January 1993.
Farm house, possibly 18th century. Was an inn until 1962.
Large brick barn of about 1830.
Other small buildings.
Of particular interest as a surviving early 19th century smallholding and in that it supplied the canal - did barn hold the hay for the barge horses?
(S1).
E. Rose (NLA), 23 August 1993.
