Map

Chapel Farm.
Dating suggested is early 18th century for house, around 1790 for barn and other buildings.
UEA farm survey (in file) notes house has Dutch gable, a rarity on farmhouses in the area, and is also unique in this parish for not being a Gunton Estate farm. Brick barn with cart doors and porches, altered. Survey states that barn has 'longitudinal ventilation slits' which is quite remarkable if so, but as survey also states that it has a 'ventilated cornice' (for dentilled) one must treat this with caution. Other minor buildings.
E. Rose (NLA), 24 August 1993.
