Summary

A date stone on the west gable wall of the farmhouse dates it to 1678, and it was originally part of the Le Strange Estate. The farmhouse is built from clunch but also incorporates stone blocks from the church. Presumably the nearby barn is contemporary, although the smaller barn previously used as a cartshed/granary, now a house, dates to the 19th century.
