Full Description
March 1987. Building Survey.
Park Farm appears to have been built as a model farm in the mid 19th century. The flint and brick barn appears to be oldest building, with slightly later granary attached in the same materials. The farm features two unique, large covered yards for bullocks with roofs of intricate timbering and adjustable louvres. Other outbuildings include stables with separate stalls, tack rooms and yards for each of two teams of six horses (one side remains unaltered), cart lodges, and a blacksmiths and carpenter's/wheelwright's shop. The blacksmith's shop retains the original forge and bellows.

November 1999. Listed, Grade II*.
Park Farm was listed as a mid 19th century model farmstead incorporating a slightly earlier barn, with 20th century alterations. It was built for the Evans Lombe family of Bylaugh Hall and includes two covered yards, shelter sheds, a stable block, riding horse stables, a trap house, a cart shed, an implement shed, and a smithy. The Farm is described as significant as an advanced design and a substantially complete example of model farm development.
