Summary
In 1993 the digging of a new carp lake at this location recovered several sherds of Roman pottery. Finds included the neck/rim of a large white amphora and four sherds of greyware.

1993. While excavating for new Carp Lake.
Roman pottery: neck/rim of large white amphora and four sherds of greyware.
Identified by D. C. Devenish (Wisbech and Fenland Museum).
