Summary

Metal detecting here in 1993 and 1995 recovered a number of Roman and medieval coins as well as a 14th century seal matrix. The seal matrix features the pelican of piety and three of its young in their nest.

1995. Metal detecting.
Very interesting pointed oval bronze 14th century seal matrix with broken loop on reverse. Pelican of piety, three young in nest in branch of tree SIMILIS PACTVS SVM PELLICA(N)O. Length 31mm width 18mm.
