Full Description
1993. Metal detector finds. Southwest of Wilby Farm.
Very nice Early Saxon small-long brooch, lozenge footplate, three half-round knobs on headplate. Single pierced lug, and wire pin looped round transverse pin (like a Roman spring). Catchplate broken. Transverse mouldings top and bottom of bow.
14th century bronze strap end, three plates, front decorated with rocker-arm ornament. Space plate is forked and has acorn-shaped terminal, two rivets (and an off-centre pierced rivet hole) at open end.

1998. Metal detecting.
Probably found at location [1]. Early post medieval double looped buckle frame, both loops oval. Knops at either end and groove for pin rest. White metal coating. Identified by K. Sussams (NCM) 1998.
