THIS RECORD PREVIOUSLY INCLUDED RIDGE AND FURROW NOW RECORDED UNDER NHER 27174.
Before 27 September 1993. Metal detecting.
1) Seventeen Roman coins. See list in file.
2) Early Saxon small-long brooch fragment. Headplate (one knob missing) and bow broken lug on reverse. Side knobs with pair of engraved vertical lines.
3) Possible early post medieval book-clasp fragment; bronze strip with ring-and-dot decoration.

1) Fragment Late Bronze Age socketed axe, unusual linear markings on side, see sketch (S1) in file.
2) Two Roman coins. See list in file.
3) Probable Roman miniature bronze foot from a ?model stand?
4) 2nd century AD Trumpet headed brooch; semi-circular panel from the mid-bow section decorated with dots and circle in centre. Lower bow retains vestiges of catch-plate. Trumpet head missing.
5) 2nd century Trumpet brooch, head bent over. Acanthus decoration on central bow.
