Full Description

Unprovenanced flint, stone and bone finds from Wissey Embayment area (Hockwold, Southery, Weeting, Feltwell, Northwold etc.).
Listed by F. Healy (NAU) in her Wissey Embayment gazetteer, part of (S1), as having no existing county numbers. However other finds in the gazetteer have been found to already have numbers and these items may duplicate some other records. Note one axe is labelled 'Johnsons' and the eastern part of the Leylands Farm site is known as 'West Fen Johnsons' (NHER 5587) but this is perhaps too common a name to rely too much on this. Items are from Curtis and Orange Collections, some now in KLM.
