Summary

This was the site of a small settlement during the medieval period. Fieldwalking here during 1993-96 recovered prehistoric worked flints along with Roman, Early Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery sherds.

May 1996. G22, a tiny piece of G15, south part of G172 and Wendling 171 watched in poor dry conditions.
Few Roman and sprinkling of medieval sherds, few prehistoric flints and minor medieval pot concentration in W171.
