Summary

This timber framed farmhouse contains wall paintings that may be dated to around 1600. A moulded plaster 'crest' has crumbled away.

Farmhouse. Timber framed. In 'lounge' on ground floor wallpaintings cover both studs and plaster at the top of two walls. Comparable to wallpaintings recorded by Royal Commission for Historic Monuments at Stamford where they were dated to around 1600. There was also a moulded plaster 'crest' which crumbled away.
