Summary

Fieldwalking in this area during 1993 recorded a spread of prehistoric pot boilers, medieval and post medieval pottery sherds and undated metal working debris. The spread of pot boilers may indicate the location of a burnt mound.

Mintlyn Farm Field Survey (Pylons):
Pot boiler site on north edge.
Nine medieval sherds from northeast area - four unglazed, five glazed Grimston, including handle.
One post medieval stone ware sherd.
Iron slag.
