Trajan denarius.
See list in file.
Identified by J. Davies (NCM).
Early post medieval equal armed cross shaped harness or belt mount with 2 spikes on reverse. Arms of cross have floriate terminals. Not unlike Middle Saxon cross brooch (based on Carolingian prototypes). But spikes and metal suggest Early post medieval. See 'twin' from NHER 33022.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM) 1995.
W. Milligan (NCM) 13 June 1995.
