Summary

Metal detecting here in 1993 and 1997 unearthed a collection of metal finds that dated to various periods. Numbering amongst these were a medieval gilded bronze buckle plate and belt slide and a post medieval shoe buckle.

Medieval gilded bronze buckle plate, engraved border, 3 rivets placed in centre of plate in row.
Medieval trapezoidal belt slide (rivet in base). Chamfered top.
Two early post medieval buckles asymmetric double-looped.
18th century shoe buckle.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM) August 1993.
