Summary

Metal-detecting in 1993 and 2013 recovered late prehistoric flakes and retouched flakes as well as an astonishing medieval gilded cast bronze convex mount. It had moulded 'eye-brows' decoration and appeared to be almost like a face-mask.

Amazing! Gilded cast bronze convex mount, two lugs on reverse. Moulded 'eye-brows' decoration almost a face-mask. Two tiny quatrefoils in sunken fields. Silvering on lugs and on reverse. Probably medieval.
