Full Description
1993. Metal detecting.
Thetford type ware base sherd.
Lovely! Late Saxon 2 lobes from a 3 or 5 lobed sword pommel. See one on display in Norwich Castle Museum Fitch Room.
Late Saxon? trefoil decorative boss, with central boss, and scalloped edges. Each foil is 'pelta' shaped.
