Summary

These six almshouses were built in 1680 but were restored in the 19th century. The southwest gable has brick diaperwork and is offset at the eaves. Each building has a façade of whitewashed brick and flint and a three-light window but most of the windows are 19th century replacements. Sadly, these buildings were damaged by fire in 1994.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Six almshouses, 1680, restored 19th century. Southwest gable with brick diaperwork and offset at eaves. Façade whitewashed brick and flint, single storey. Six doors arranged 1-2-2-1, each house with three-light window but now mostly 19th century. Gabled roof with 4 rebuilt brick stacks."
