Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 1994 and 2024 recovered a Neolithic/Bronze Age flint flake; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval jetton; post-medieval tokens and a range of other, undated and Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include undated copper alloy rings and a copper alloy and iron rivet; a Roman brooch; a Middle Saxon pin; a Late Saxon to post-medieval lead spindle whorl; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness pendant, rotary key, thimble, censer suspension unit, copper alloy cauldron leg, lead pot mends and lead ampulla; a medieval/post-medieval thimble, copper alloy vessel fragments, copper alloy ring, copper alloy unidentified object, lead spindle whorls or weights, lead weight or plumb bob and lead weight and post-medieval furniture fittings, a crotal bell and lead cloth seal.

Cast leg, fragment of, from medieval cauldron.
Three medieval coins.
Late medieval six-lobed harness pendant with central rosette in a roundel, surrounded by six fleurs-de-lis in low relief on a red enamel ground and the lobes are also lis-shaped. Out of one projects the suspension loop. The one opposite is broken.
