Summary

According to documentary sources this is the site of a chantry chapel founded in 1281 and served by Wendling Abbey. It also functioned as St Andrew's church, hence its name. The chapel/church was removed at the time of the dissolution.

Site of chantry chapel founded in 1281 according to Blomefield (S1).
Served by Wendling abbey and removed at Dissolution. Functioned as St Andrew's church also. In Blomefield's time the site was 'near the Shipdham road in Saham' and was known as 'Little St Andrews'.
