Summary

Manor Farm is an early 17th century house, covered by an interesting early 19th century brick crenelatted screen façade. The gabled roof of the original house can be seen behind, and there are hipped extensions to each side and a conservatory at the rear.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Farmhouse. Early 17th century with early 19th-century alterations. Brick with pantiled roof. Original house plan obscured by early 19th-century crenellated screen façade through two storeys in four wide bays. Timber Greek Doric doorcase in third bay (from left) with a pair of engaged fluted columns under plain entablature and hood. Fenestration of mid-19th-century horned sashes...Gabled roof of original house emerges above, with internal 19th-century gable-end stacks. Right and left are hipped, lower, balanced extensions of one bay each, fronted by the screen. Rear with a full length 19th-century glazed conservatory outshut...Stepped gables.
INTERIOR. Sunk-quadrant moulded bridging beam in ground-floor central room. Early 19th-century stick baluster staircase with ramped and wreathed handrail."
