Summary

Guilers Farmhouse is a timber-frame and brick building with 17th-century origins. There is a gabled 17th-century crosswing with an attic, and the main block has an offcentre stack and an internal east gable stack. The rear is dominated by the gables of two crosswings.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Farmhouse. 17th and 20th century. Partly timber-framed, partly brick. Rendered and colourwashed. Pantiled roof. Two cross wings, that to west projecting to both north and south of main block. North front of two storeys in two bays...Gabled 17th-century cross wing to west projects a and has attic storey...Both roofs gabled. Main lock with ridge stack right of centre and an internal gable-end stack to east. Rear dominated by gables of the two cross wings. West cross wing of two storeys and attic, remainder without attic...West return of east cross wing with open-pedimented doorcase and panelled reveals, probably not in situ...
INTERIOR: East ground-floor room with cruciform chamfered bridging beam, one element with jewelled stops. West ground-floor room with a bridging beam with quadruple jewelled stops…"
