Summary

Metal detecting recovered a silver coin of Aethelred II. A rim sherd of pimply Ipswich Ware was also found at the same location. Further work on an extended area in 2008 uncovered a range of finds from the Roman to the Post-Medieval period.

Rim sherd of pimply Ipswich ware found at same spot as coin of Aethelred II long cross type BMC 4a, 978-1016.

1 Roman coin.
1 medieval coin, 1 jetton, 1 three-piece strap-end, 1 thimble and 3 spur buckles (gilt).
1 post-medieval crotal bell and 1 harness mount.
1 undatable lead weight.
